Hello everybody, and Happy Halloween from Liberty's Exiles. Back on Halloween in 2016, Simon and I started a new tradition, and a new album. We decided that we would release a new song every Halloween, and compile them into one album. We've written some very cool stuff for this album since then, and every year seems a bit more fun for us.
When it came time for the album cover, a good friend of mine, Melissa Leners, created this artwork. I've always loved the work she did for us here, and still very much appreciate what she did for us!
For the album this year, I was telling Simon a story about how my childhood home was haunted. A man killed his wife and kid there, and then himself. The vibe of the house was always a bit creepy, but it was even worse one night, when I swear I heard my dad's stereo speaker warn me to get out of the house. To this day I still can't convince myself that it was only a dream. Simon took this story, and turned it into this years track, "You Never Should Come Back". It's out now. I actually just sent Simon some lyrics for a new track, that may be next Halloween's song. We shall see. In the meantime, here's the track list, and duration of the album so far.
